Love this coffee pot

This has got to be my favorite coffee pot that I have owned. I like the 14 cup pot for guests. You can make 1/2 pot when you dont need a whole. It has a clock so that you can program for a fresh cup of coffee when you wake up. It also shuts off by itself so you never have to worry about leaving it on all day when you go off to work. Also comes with a gold filter. Love it!

Makes good coffee, but....

We purchased this coffee pot because of it's 14 cup capacity and also because of it's 4 hour auto shut-off capability. This does make good coffee, but water (a lot of it) accumulates in the top and when you shut the lid after filling the pot, the water goes all over your counter. Also, the lid on the pot, doesn't fit quite right. Won't order a coffee pot through the internet again. Too much of a hassel to return so I kept it. It died yesterday after about 18 months of use and although I purchased another Cuisinart, I was happy to see this one go.

Very disappointed!

We are very, very disappointed with this coffee maker. There isn't a cup measure on the coffee maker itself which may explain why when the coffee is brewed & the pot moved, water is all under the machine. 1st & last Cuisinart.
